INEC Chairman: Prof. Attahiru Jega
Following the speculating rumours that were flying the air and arousing much worries and tension over the results of the Presidential Elections which was conducted yesterday, many social networks have been carrying a fake roumours giving a fake data of the results and this issue has arouse much arguments and worries over Nigerians.
The INEC Chairman Prof. Attahiru Jega this evening told the general public to discard all news speculating around in social networks, and described them ask fake. “INEC has not released any result concerning the Presidential Elections which was conducted over Nigeria yesterday, besides Elections is still going on in some Local Government Ares of five States; Lagos, Taraba, Gombe, Bronu and Kaduna.” Jega said.
The result will be announced publicly on radios and television stations tomorrow. He asked those imposters to stop those acts.
